Devimon ::.
Devimon was the ultimate ruler of the file Island, watching the DigiDestined from the island's center mountain. He controls other Digimon using black gears, which fly through the air, looking for a Digimon to control. He defeated the DigiDestined's champion level Digimon with his dark claw, but T.K.'s Digivice finally began to shimmer. Angemon appeared and used all his energy to defeat Devimon, causing Angemon to revert to a Digi-Egg.
Devimon ::.
A monkey-like Digimon. He uses his Dark Network to spy the DigiDestined after they left File Island. Izzy cracked the server and destroyed it with the help of a Datamon's viruses. However, it created a black hole. Etemon was affected by this and mutated, becoming more powerful as he fought to control the black hole. MetalGreymon destroyed him, causing the black hole to get out of control, which sent Tai and Koromon to the real world.
Devimon ::.
A more powerful enemy that made Etemon seem inferior. His servant, DemiDevimon, tried to trick the DigiDestined and prevent their crests from activating. Myotismon knew there was an 8th DigiDestined and tried to stop them from discovering who it was, so he entered the real world. He sent one of his servants, Gatomon, to find the 8th DigiDestined (Tai's sister Kari.) Kari received her DigiVice, tag, and crest, and realized Gatomon was her Digimon. Gatomon Digivolved into Angewomon, defeating Myotismon with a golden arrow.
DARK MASTERS ::.
Created by Apocalymon while the chosen children left the DigiWorld to battle Myotismon in the real world. The Dark Masters brought havoc upon the DigiWorld, changing its data to form their base at Spiral Mountain. MetalSeadramon controlled the sea domains, Puppetmon the forest domains, Machinedramon the industrial domains and Piedmon was their leader.
MetalSeadramon -Weakest member of the dark masters and ruler of the water domains. He was a powerful plasma blaster built into his face and is known to constrict Digimon. WarGreymon made quick work of defeating him, draining the water section of spiral mountain.
Puppetmon -Second member of the dark masters. Puppetmon is a nature type digimon. He controls the land and forest. He uses mind games in attempt to trick his opponents. He is known for his puppet strings, which allow him to control things. He also controls many other Digimon, forcing them to do his work as puppet slaves. MetalGarurumon destroyed him, returning the forest to normal and freeing his mind slaves.
Machinedramon -A machine type digimon and third member of the dark masters. Machinedramon controls the underground, city, and machine world. He destroys almost anything with his powerful claws and two powerful blasters. He has the ability to track the DigiDestined every time Izzy logs onto his computer. He used his mechanoid minions to attack them, but when they failed he took matters into his own hands. He was easily defeated by WarGreymon.
Piedmon -The final and strongest of the dark masters. Piedmon is the baddest of the baddest and the leader of the group. He doesn't care who he faces in battle and often tries to make a mockery of his opponents. Piedmon loves to perform evil magic and evil humor. He stole the tags and crests and attacked Gennai's base. He turned everyone except TK, Kari and Patamon into keychains. However, TK's crest shown, digivolving Patamon evolved into MagnaAngemon to saving the others. MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon destroyed Piedmon, turning him into one of his own keychains.
Apocalymon ::.
After the Dark Masters were defeated, the world seemed to return to normal. Suddenly, a final darkness appeared: Apocalymon, the most powerful virus Digimon, who had been watching the DigiDestined ever since they entered the Digital world. He wishes to destroy both the real and digimon world. He feeds of off the pain of the souls of Digimon. Any time a Digimon dies in the process of trying to digivolve, he gathers the energy of their defragmented data. His powerful claws can transform to resemble any deleted Digimon and use their attacks. He destroyed the tags and crests in an effort to stop the DigiDestined, but they used their determination and belief in their Digimon partners to allow them to Digivolve to ultimate without them. Apocalymon used his "Reverse Digivolve" attack to turn their Digimon into their weakest forms. He then sent the DigiDestined and digimon to a dark place where Digimon go after being deleted. At the last minute, a final attempt to win was made and the DigiDestined were restored to the battle scene. Their Digivices formed an enclosure of powerful beams to stop Apocalymon's "Total Annihilation" attack before he could destroy the world. With his attack contained, it destroyed him. The entire Digital World started to defragment and the DigiDestined had to escape.
