Digital, Detect, Discover. These are the main principles of the D-3 digivice. This LCD toy represents the next generation of Digivices after their initial release in the U.S.A. Unlike the Japanese D-3, the American D-3s have been "dubbed down" and have fewer capabilites.

Note: The Japanese D-3 Digivice is basically a totally different model than the one released in the U.S. While the American D-3's gameplay is essentially the same as the original Season 1 Digivice, Japan's D-3 comes in several versions and allows for more Digimon, special features with the Japanese D-Terminal, and a much larger list of Armor Digivolution combos. Unlike the U.S. D-3, the Japanese Digivice features many Armor Digimon that were not in the T.V. show.
