About the game ::.
Digimon World 3 is the newest addition to the line-up of the "Digimon World" game series. This game takes place in both the real world, and the Digital world. Hackers have broken into Digimon online. It's up to you to stop their plans and save the Digital and real worlds.

Features ::.
- A few TV Digimon are playable (plus a Season 4 "preview")
- 24 brand new Digimon, only found in DW3, ready to kick some butt
- Watch your Digimon grow in strength as you train them
- New DigiVolving. Gain hit points to Blast Digivolve when you get enough
- "Real World" / "Digital World" storyline
- Customize Digimon troops with armor
- Collect and buy rare items to modify your Digimon's stats
- DNA Digivolve if you have two Digimon with compatible DigiVolutions

Review ::.
Digimon World 3 is an over-all improvement from Digimon World 1. Compared to Digimon World 2, there's a chance DW2 was better. When I bought this game, I was pretty hyped up about it. However, it less than a week, the game, like it's previous version became very dull.

Here are some of the good thing and bad things about the game:

Up Sides ::.
- The main character runs, allowing you to get from area to area quickly
- The music in the game is very good.
- Amazing 3-D movies in the game, like the intro and entering the Digital World
- Digivolution is during battle rather than the pokemon-like evolution

Bad things ::.
- Saving is annoying. You must go out of your way to find "Guardomon Inns"
- Lost battles display "game over" and you loose everything since your last save
- Loading and saving progress takes an insane amount of time
- There are lots of errands in the game, which get confusing
- Digimon were actually taken out! from prior games!!!
- Only 7 Digimon you can actually use in battle. No catching Digimon
- More recolors in this game than DW1 and DW2 combined
- DigiVolution rarely follows the lines of the TV shows.

This game is decent. I really didn't give it much time, but I may have ran into more disappointments if I did. It has an improved story and battle, but they cut back on the features that counted most, like variety of catchable Digimon.
