| Bio: | Takato Matsuki is the Tamers goggle-head, and thus our leader of the new series. Takato is a very curious young boy and is also very adventurous but at the same time is shy and, well, normal - quite unlike the previous leaders of the digidestined. He regularly plays the card game with his friends from school, Kazu and Kenta. However it became much more than a game when he found his blue card. When Takato found a blue card in his box of cards, he slashed it through his card reader, causing it to transform in to a red d-power while he was at school. After a detention for being late, thanks to Miss Asaji, he draws pictures of his made-up digimon, who he calls Guilmon. When he gets home, he gets the idea to slash the drawings of Guilmon through his D-Power. To his surprise, the digivice reads the drawings and creates a digiegg of Guilmon. After their initial meeting, Takato and Guilmon become the best of friends and partners. Takato is an only child. His parents are Mie (dubbed Yoshie) and Takehiro Matsuki. Takato also has a cousin called Kai Urazoe who lives on the southern Japanese island of Okinawa. |
