Digimon World Tour

Around Christmas time in Adventure 02, the digidestined from Japan were informed that Control Spires had been found all over the world, along with wild digimon. So on Christmas Eve, the digidestined took a trip to destinations all over the world.

Ken & Matt travelled to the USA and Mexico. Tai & T.K. went to France, Sora & Yolei went to Russia, Joe & Cody went to Australia and Izzy & Kari went to the India-China border. Below are all the digidestined they met up with, along with their respective countries of residence. All of these digidestined appeared again at the end of the series to battle MaloMyotismon.

United States of America

Michael & Betamon: Michael is the first foreign digidestined we meet in the series. Since Mimi moved to America, they had become good friends. When a Digi-Port opened up in America, him and Mimi went to meet the 02 digidestined. Michael enjoys playing the violin and water polo, and his famous father owns a helicopter.

Steve & Frigimon: Steve is a Jewish American. He helps Davis, Mimi and the other American digidestined subdue a Cherrymon at Rockafeller Centre.

Phil & Flareizamon: Phil is an African-American digidestined and appears along with the rest of them in New York. He is the one who e-mails Mimi for help.

Maria & Centarumon: Maris is yet another digidestined who helped calm down the Cherrymon at Rockefeller Centre.

Lou & Tortomon: Lou is a Native American digidestined who also helped out with the others in New York.

Tatum & Airdramon: Tatum is an Irish-American digidestined, who persuaded a ShogunGekomon at Niagara Falls to come with her to Central Park in New York. She isn't mentioned by name, but she appears (along with all the others) in the Digimon 02 Memorial Book released in Japan.

Mexico

Rosa & Gotsumon: Rosa is one of the digidestined from Mexico City. The other Mexican digidestined were all in bed due to a curfew. Rosa, however, had sneaked out to helped Ken and Matt send a Minotarumon and a Dokugumon back to the DigiWorld.

France

Catherine & Floramon: Catherine is a French digidestined. She was being held captive by Mamemon, BigMamemon, MetalMamemon and Giromon in the Palace of Versailles when Tai & TK came to rescue her. Catherine's Floramon digivolved to Kiwimon to help Tai & TK's digimon battle Catherine's captors and send them back to the DigiWorld.

Russia

Anna & Unimon: One of the three digidestined that helped Sora & Yolei send a crowd of Flymon and Mammothmon back to the DigiWorld.

Yuri & Kuwagamon: One of the three digidestined that helped Sora & Yolei send a crowd of Flymon and Mammothmon back to the DigiWorld.

Sonya & Snimon: One of the three digidestined that helped Sora & Yolei send a crowd of Flymon and Mammothmon back to the DigiWorld. In the original version she was called Lola.

Australia

Derek & Crabmon: Derek was windsurfing on a beach in Australia when a Gesomon, an Ebidramon and a Scorpiomon attacked him. Armadillomon and Gomamon came to the rescue and Crabmon, Derek's digimon, digivolved to Coelamon and sent the digimon back to the Digital World.

India

Mina & Meramon: Mina is an Indian digidestined. She rounded up all the digimon in India and took them to the Chinese border, but couln't pass because the presence of the Chinese military could have started off a war of some sort. Kari, Izzy and the oldest Poi brother came to help and soon enough, the digimon were allowed to enter China.

People's Republic of China

Yuehon & Apemon: Yuehon helped round up all the digimon across Asia and bring them to Hong Kong, so they could be sent back to the Digital World. (Her name is taken from the Digimon 02 Memorial Book and is not mentioned in dialogue.)

The Poi Brothers & Syakomon: The Poi Brothers are three brothers from Hong Kong who all have indentical Syakomon, who digivolve to Octomon. The brothers all quickly developed a crush on Kari when her and Izzy came to round up the digimon from that area. The eldest brother went to help Mina on the India-China border and they sent back numerous digimon to the Digital World.

Vietnam

Dien & Gorillamon: Dien is a Vietnamese digidestined and was also helping to round up wild digimon from Asia. (His name is also taken from the Digimon 02 Memorial Book.)
